This 21-foot-tall Biodiversity Jenga is our opportunity to
communicate the need to protect and rebuild our
planet’s biodiversity to the entire world.
This art installation, designed by internationally
acclaimed artist and activist Benjamin Von Wong ,
symbolizes the perilous balancing act between human
activity and our planet’s accelerating loss of
biodiversity.
But unlike a typical game of Jenga — where blocks are
pulled out until the tower collapses — the goal of this
game is to push blocks back into place, ensuring our
planet’s ability to continue supporting life and
livelihoods.
But we have to act quickly. Time is running out, and the
most important thing about the Biodiversity Game is
that it’s not a game at all.
